Mayfair International Academy's Teaching Team consists of over 20 enthusiastic and dedicated teachers and teaching assistants from a variety of backgrounds. We accept applications for preliminary interviews throughout the year, in order to shortlist candidates for future vacancies. Teaching Assistant/ESL Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Teaching Assistant to join our team. Applicants must be native English speakers and be able to work efficiently as part of a team. The successful applicant will be supporting Primary Class Teachers as required and therefore must be flexible and able to adapt to the requirements of the classes. He/She will also be working with individual learners and/or small groups, delivering English support in preparation for Cambridge English examinations. All applicants must be able to attend in-person interviews and a trial day.
For this position we will require a minimum of:
- Five IGCSEs/GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics
- 120 hour TEFL certificate
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant/Support Teacher and/or experience in preparing learners for Cambridge English examinations
- Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools/Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
We are now interviewing Pre-Foundation Stage staff in preparation for the introduction of a Stage for children aged two to three years old. Applicants must be native English speakers and have Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS). Preschool teachers play a crucial role in a child's education, introducing young learners to their very first experiences in school and laying the foundations for formal education in the years ahead. We are therefore looking for extremely enthusiastic and passionate individuals to take on this important role. All applicants must be able to work effectively as a part of a team and to be active members of our school community.

AS and A-Level Teachers
We are now recruiting teachers of Cambridge AS and A-Level in preparation for the re-launch of our Advanced Level in September 2019. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who teach with passion and who are good team players. Applicants must hold a PGCE or equivalent and have at least two years of experience in preparing learners for success in Cambridge AS and A-Level examinations in their specialist subject. All applicants must be able to attend in-person interviews and present a demonstration lesson.
We are looking for a well-presented and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding administration team. Applicants must have previous experience in customer service and be fluent in English and Spanish. Candidates must be well-organised and have polished communication skills, as well as computer literacy and the ability to adapt to new programmes/systems, with competency in Outlook 365 or similar, Microsoft Office and word processing.
We are now interviewing for a concierge/maintenance person to join our team. Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy and fluent in English and Spanish. The successful applicant will be responsible for opening and closing the school, basic maintenance tasks and ensuring the school is clean and presentable at all times. Applicants must:
