Admissions
We are currently accepting applicants for the 2018-2019 academic year.
At Mayfair International Academy we assess every admission individually, and carefully consider the elements of each application in order to determine how we can best support each of our future students through his or her learning path.
When reviewing applications, we look for candidates:
- Who are motivated.
- Whose academic performance is good to excellent.
- Whose attitude is good overall, and who are respectful to others.
- Who are, and whose parents/guardians are, committed to the school mission and philosophy.
- Who are internationally minded.
- Who would benefit from the Cambridge pathway and our school’s curriculum.
- Whose qualities would enrich our school’s community and make a positive contribution.
As we maintain small classes, we may have several candidates applying for the same place, and in such cases we inevitably need to make a selection. To help us do this, in addition to the criteria above, we may take into account the following factors:
- Siblings already attending, accepted in or applying to the school.
- The existing gender balance of the class.
- The existing language balance of the class.
- Background/Experience in a British or international school.
- Candidates being recommended to the school by existing families.
Applicants must possess a Spanish NIE number (Número de Identificación de Extranjero/Foreigner Identification Number) or a DNI. Please note, we do not accept short-term enrolments, nor do we accommodate trial days.
