Advanced - Introduction

Mayfair International Academy's Sixth Form students follow the two-year A-Level programme, studying towards A/S and A2 examinations.

Throughout the programme, students continue to learn through a combination of practical experiences and theoretical studies. Sixth Form students have scheduled study periods, during which time they remain on campus and study independently, either in their own study room or elsewhere in the school grounds.

Our Sixth Form students are all prefects and are regularly given responsibilities and opportunities to practice public speaking. As role models to our younger students they are expected to participate in whole school events and are able to add these experiences to their university applications.

Subjects offered at A/S and A-Level vary from year to year, depending upon demand.

Entry Requirements

Sixth Form at Mayfair International Academy Entry to our Advanced level requires a minimum of five GCSE/IGCSEs at grades A*-C and a minimum of grade C in the subjects that the learner wishes to continue to study.
